I was born in Vietnam; ran to New Zealand in my early 20s; flew to England; went back to Vietnam; then followed my hand to England again in search of a visual language to express myself. My practice gives away hints of places, for all the versatile cultures and lifestyles have formed who I am.

Imagination is my process. I often start with reading and researching, mostly about contemporary subjects, human psychology, emotions and thoughts… Through questions I then explore and experiment how these current matters can possibly fit in different historical and cultural contexts.

As a theme, psychological suspense seems to cure most of my curiosity, though not all. I have produced work covering wide variety of topics, across advertising, publishing and design as well as in a more authorial capacity. At the end of the day, simply put, I just enjoy the process of drawing.
