Anh Thu Nguyen a.k.a Tea is a Vietnamese artist and illustrator with a practice incorporating painting, drawing, printmaking, and digital art, currently based in London, UK.

The theme of the human condition and consciousness in relation to lived experience is the main focus of my work. I combine expressive colours and painterly brushstrokes to represent the physical world as the embodiment of the human mind.

My practice develops through myself as an Asian artist who lives and works in the West. I have a diverse professional background in the creative professions, including advertising, design and film. Prior to the MA Illustration at Arts University Bournemouth, I have spent eight thrilling years as a “mad ad girl”. Here are some of my commercials if you’re keen.
